Al Wadhiah’s Partnership with aYmab Mission and a School in Sri Lanka

At Al Wadhiah, we believe that the true measure of success lies not only in financial growth
but in our ability to give back to communities in need. One of our most meaningful initiatives
this year has been our partnership with aYmab Mission, a charity dedicated to creating
positive change in underserved communities. Together, we are working closely with a small
school in Puttalam, Sri Lanka—a place that has touched our hearts deeply.

A Mission to Empower Young Minds.
The school in Puttalam faces immense challenges. Many children there struggle daily, not
only with access to basic education but also with necessities like food and clean water. The
lack of resources and infrastructure has hindered these students’ ability to thrive
academically and personally. Recognising this dire need, we at Al Wadhiah, alongside aYmab
Mission, committed to making a difference.

In September, members of the Al Wadhiah team visited the school in Puttalam to gain a
first-hand understanding of the challenges faced by the students and their educators. The
visit was eye-opening and humbling, bringing into sharp focus the importance of investing in
these young lives. We engaged with the children, spoke with the teachers, and listened to the
stories of perseverance and hope that define this community.

During our visit, we worked closely with aYmab Mission to document the school’s struggles
and the resilience of its students. This experience culminated in the production of a heartfelt
documentary, aimed at raising awareness and generating much-needed funds beyond our
immediate network. By sharing this story with a wider audience, we hope to inspire others to
contribute and join us in creating brighter futures for these children.

Our partnership with the school in Puttalam is more than a one-time act of charity—it is a
long-term commitment to making a sustainable impact. With aYmab Mission as our trusted
partner, we are actively assisting the school in rebuilding its infrastructure. This includes
creating a safe and conducive learning environment and ensuring that students have access
to the resources they need to succeed.

rebuilding classrooms to ensuring access to clean water and meals, our mission is to
